Harley-Davidson® of Frederick and Williamsport Refund and Cancellation Policy

Harley-Davidson of Frederick, Inc. would like to welcome you to the Harley-Davidson Family.

In an effort to share the Harley-Davidson experience and to promote safe and responsible riding, Harley-Davidson of Frederick, Inc. offers the Riding Academy New Rider Course, Skilled Rider Course, Additional Practice Session and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation- 3 Wheel Basic Rider Course, Advanced Rider Course, Basic Bike Bonding and Ultimate Bike Bonding Course.

Please read, understand and acknowledge the following Refund and Cancellation Policy.

• Full refunds for cancellation 2 weeks prior to the class start date.
• $50.00 processing fee for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to class start date. (NRC)
• NO refunds for cancellations 24 hours or less prior to class start date.
• If you do not show up for the first session of your scheduled course or any other scheduled day, you will be considered as having withdrawn from the course and the course fee will not be refunded. If you are late on any day of your scheduled course and miss any unit or exercise you will be considered withdrawn and the course fee will not be refunded.
• By state requirement, a student enrolled in New Rider Class has to complete an online training course, attend all classroom units and must participate in all range exercises in order to qualify for the class M endorsement.
• If you leave or sit out any scheduled exercise or classroom unit for any reason other than medical, you will be considered withdrawn from the course by the Riding Academy coach and the course fee will not be refunded.
• If you provide a statement from your doctor that you cannot continue the course, Harley-Davidson of Frederick, Inc. will offer, for one time only, another course to you at NO CHARGE for the New Rider Course OR for the Skilled Rider Course OR the 3WBRC during the same calendar year, depending upon availability. No refund will be provided. Please note that you have to start a new course from the beginning.
• Riding a motorcycle can be dangerous. If you are performing poorly and endangering yourself or other students, the coach may review your performance and recommend that you withdraw from course. You may also voluntarily withdraw from the course if you do not feel comfortable enough to continue. Harley-Davidson of Frederick Inc. will offer to you, for one time only, the opportunity to take another course at NO CHARGE for the New Rider Course OR for the Skilled Rider OR the 3WBRC Course during the same calendar year. Please note that you have to start a new course from the beginning and is limited to availability.
• You must provide all protective gear. This includes a DOT compliant helmet, eye protection, full fingered gloves, long sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants such as jeans (no yoga or sweat pants or leggings), and over the ankle boots.
